ABOUT LEONIDAS

I build technology.
I write where
it takes us.

I have spent more than three decades building technology, from the systems that preceded the cloud to today's world of AI and intelligent digital platforms.
I still build.
But here I step back from implementation, look at the larger picture and write about what technology changes in business, institutions, society and people.

Curious mind. Builder by nature.

Portrait of Leonidas Chrysochoou

Technology matters when it changes what people and organisations are able to do.

I have worked across cloud architecture, software development, data systems and digital transformation. The sectors changed: public administration, waste management, logistics, healthcare and business operations. The underlying question remained the same: are we simply delivering technology, or are we building a capability that genuinely works?

My work begins with architecture, but it does not end there. Systems are shaped by decisions, incentives, institutions, data quality and the behaviour of the people who use them. That wider view is also the foundation of everything I write here.

I look at technology from above.

Not to admire its complexity, but to understand what it changes, where it fails and what we can build better.

THE WORK CONTINUES

The point is not to predict the future.
It is to understand what we are building into it.
